Project Mangement
These courses benefit managers at all levels in estimating, planning, tracking, managing, controlling projects / products and enables pro-active thinking, managing risks, facts based decision making, etc. It includes Estimation (Delphi, FP, Cosmic FP, Story Points), Program / Project Management Overview, PMP, PgMP, Risk management, Quantitative Project Management, Agile Project Management, Facts based management, Competency / Skill Management, MS-Project tool etc.
We offer half day to 5 days workshops depending on organizations and participants need. We customize our course material as per the expectation of participants. We also assist practitioners in implementation even after successful course completion.
Orientation to PMP and PMBOK
The workshop introduces paticipants to PMI, PMBOK and key certifications offered by PMI. Participants will understand the PMP certification process – pre-requisites, application process, examination and maintaining credential.
MS Project Tool Usage
This course enables program/project managers (PMs) to manage programs/projects using MS-Project tool. MS Project tool helps PMs in breaking down tasks, identify potential bottlenecks and keep project on track.
Software Estimation Techniques
The workshop provides information on various estimation techniques for estimation of size, effort and thereby derive project schedule. it enables participants to understand the principles of good estimation, function point based estimation, writing use cases, use case points estimation, deriving effort using productivity and schedule based on many factors with the use of a case study.
Software estimation using Function Points
The Function Point Analysis (FPA) technique involves viewing the functionality of software from the users’ perspective to measure the size and once size (or complexity) is measured, derive effort using productivity and schedule based on many factors with the use of a case study.
Software Estimation using Use Case Points
The workshop provides training on use case points based estimation techniques for estimation of size, effort and thereby derive project schedule. This workshop enables participants to understand the principles of good estimation, writing use cases, use case points estimation, deriving effort using productivity and schedule based on many factors with the use of a case study.
Software Risks Management
This course enables project managers and program managers in identifying risks and mitigating them effectively. It describes that how we can manage assumptions, dependencies, constraints, technical challenges, organizational challenges, people challenges effectively without impacting project success criterion.
